A LEOPARD IS MORE THAN HIS SPOTS is a book for all

young children who face the challenges of growing up. Its impact

and moral message about overcoming “differences” is universal

as is its message about acceptance and being tolerant of others.

Take a trip through the African Savanna and follow ZYNESS

as he makes his way from Cub to becoming a Great Leopard.

Both children and adults can learn something from this fable with

23 beautiful watercolor illustrations bound in hard cover.

It is a must read especially for children with “differences” be they

mental such as having Attention Deficit Disorder / ADHA or physical

such as being overweight. And yet all children growing up in this fast

paced world of ours will benefit from its reading and be able to

relate to our leopard as he faces danger in the harsh realities

of his world. Read how our hero is able to succeed even with his

“handicap” and how this “difference” even helps him to succeed!

CHILDHOOD TO WOMANHOOD - A MEMOIR

SEATTLE AND JUNEAU WITH STOPS ALONG THE  WAY

In the early 1900's the Hartman family faced a critical decision.  With

five children and the father having difficulty earning a living - would it be

the right thing to do to let one of their daughters leave home and work as

a "cheap helper" for a well-to-do Seattle family?  It is decided that it would

be to Beth's "advantage" to let her go, and then there would be one less

mouth to feed as well.

This is but one segment of what transpires in this autobiographical

memoir of Beth Christina Harper as she relates to us her passage from

Childhood To Womanhood.

Come with us and board the SS Alameda as Beth tells her story of

steaming from Seattle to Juneau, Alsaka as a turn-of-the-century

Cinderella and then, three and a half years later, returning on the sister

ship the SS Mariposa, now as a woman, sought after by suitors both

young and old!
